## Overview

OMT Pay is the mobile wallet of **OMT** (Orient Money Transfer), a Lebanon-based money transfer and remittance company with BDL (Banque du Liban) licensing. The wallet supports QR-code payments, loyalty-point-to-cash conversion, and cross-border remittance flows across 140+ corridors. It has approximately 500,000 app downloads.

## QR Format

OMT Pay generates [QR Code](https://docs.barcoder.ai/docs/standards/qr-code) payloads for merchant payments and P2P transfers. The QR payload format follows a wallet-specific UR scheme (proprietary to OMT). It also supports [URL QR](../url-qr/) format for web-based payment links.
