## Overview

**Pepper QR** is the QR payment scheme of **Pepper** (Pepper Group), Israel's leading super-app and digital loyalty platform. Pepper combines loyalty points (Pepper Points), cashback, and QR payments. It supports [QR Code](https://docs.barcoder.ai/docs/standards/qr-code) merchant payments at Israeli merchants and P2P transfers. Pepper has millions of Israeli users and is deeply integrated with Israel's retail and e-commerce ecosystem.

## QR Format
Pepper QR uses [QR Code](https://docs.barcoder.ai/docs/standards/qr-code) symbology with a Pepper-specific UR payload (URL-based, [URL QR](../url-qr/)). The payload contains merchant ID, transaction amount, and Pepper Points redemption data.
