**Rakuten Pay QR** is the QR payment scheme of **Rakuten Pay** (Rakuten Bank / Rakuten Securities), Japan's e-commerce giant's mobile wallet. Rakuten Pay has 30M+ registered users and is deeply integrated with the Rakuten Points ecosystem (Rakuten Super Points, Rakuten Card, Rakuten Securities). It supports [QR Code](https://docs.barcoder.ai/docs/standards/qr-code) merchant payments, P2P transfers, and Rakuten Points cashback.

## QR Format
Rakuten Pay QR uses [QR Code](https://docs.barcoder.ai/docs/standards/qr-code) symbology with a Rakuten Pay-specific UR payload (URL-based, [URL QR](../url-qr/)). The payload contains merchant ID, transaction data, and Rakuten Points account info.
